I am extremely disappointed in Altech Autopage. I have an Ipad3 with them on contract, which is under a year old. it started to give me problems, switching itself on and off. I took it to Woodlands, and they sent it for repairs, but now they sent me an sms stating the repairs will cost R4500 and a consultant will contact me, which haven't happened yet. I went back to Altech Woodlands and they couldn't assist so they gave me headoffice's number. I called them myself and couldn't get answers, they refer me back to the branch. what I want to know is, what's wrong with my Ipad, is it a fault that the warrantee needs to cover, or should I claim from my insurance. the call centre said I should try and claim from my insurance, if they won't pay I can claim from my warranty. that's wrong way round, I should be able to claim against my warranty first, and then insurance.
