I went in to local Mtn branch to find out why my airtime was literally disappearing.
The chap who helped me in the shop looked up my account and told me I was being debited R7 a day via Opera Telkom for " content".
I had never subscribed to this.. but he said they probably sent me an sms and if I had opened it that's all they needed to be be subscibed! He then said he would block it and gave me the number of Opera Telkom to try to get my money back
All Opera Telkom do is tell you to send a complaint to [Email Removed] and told me that MTN are also liable to refund me as they should not have told me they had blocked the site as I was still being debited and MTN chap didnt know how to block it!
I have my contract of Top up 200 with MTN ..you do not have my permission to let anyone debit my account, your invoices to me are not showing their debit details, but it does show that you are debiting me for a SMS 50 bundle that I never receive on a monthly basis, this has been going on for many many months seemingly and I want my refund on that also, plus the refund on costs that Opera Telkom have taken off since May 2013 without permission via linking in to my MTN account
