Pay for ADSL line but have limited speed

Hello Peter,

In July I had to install an ASDL land line for work purposes. I got a basic 386 ADSL line. But about 2 weeks after instalation, the line speed dropped to 150. I logged a complaint and I was told that there is a problem with the line and that is where it got left.

I still pay my R400/m for the full 386 line, but I cannot even open a website properly without have to try 4-5 times over. Download speed is horrific and Telkom can not be worried less to fix the line. I followed up and was told it is being attended, but that was like 2 months ago and still not joy.

This was the whole reason I managed without a landline for 15 years. Not to mention the trouble I had to go through to get the line installed. Initially I was impressed with the better service since I stopped using them 15 years ago, but now I start to doubt if I should continue with the line.
