ADSL Line Speed

I started off with a 1Mb uncapped ADSL service from Telkom and because it was to slow to my liking, I upgraded to a 2Mb line within a week. This increased my download line speed from 0.8Mb to 1.1Mb. I subsequently upgraded to a 4Mb line because the speed was still not satisfactory. This took my line speed up to 1.3Mb at best. I have been up and down with telkom over the last 2 weeks to fix the line speed and it is still on 1.3Mb at best. I asked them to have the Technician phone me before coming out to my house so that I can make sure I am at home. The technician arrives at my gate at about 10:00 on a Saturday whithout any notice. If they cannot supply 4Mb in my area, then just say so and I'll go back to 2Mb or 3G/HSDPA...
