Faulty unit - cancellation

I did an upgrade and got the net tablet p5200 with the DSTv drifta. from day 1 it did not work after many calls to DSTV they gave up saying they don't know what's wrong. after 4 days of receiving my new unit I returned it to the store cell c trade route mall (Bilal was very helpful as always). the tested the unit and loaded an OBF on the system 9-10-11. when I called today I was told that I have to wait 4 days to assess the unit. that is ridiculous. I have been on the phone for half the day already and am currently holding on for the MD line but NO ANSWER. I have the call log from my phone whereby I called the repair centre 6 times no answer and all cell c can tell me is t take it up with the store when in fact cell c head office is the obstacle holding up the entire process.
even trying to cancel my contract is a nightmare and have to talk to 5 - 7 different people all with different answers but no solutions.
please assist
