I signed up for a line with Telkom to get an adsl line set up - I was apparently put onto a plan which included minutes and more than double the cost of the dsl line - all without my permission.
I was only made aware of this after 3 months, as the clever folk at Telkom could find the house, the technician could find my address, yet my billings were sent to someone else at a completely different address in the same suburb.
My line has now been deactivated due to non payment - really do Telkom think there are many out there who would settle an account for 7 times what they expect to pay, all based on an sms??? with no detailed billings (those were delivered elsewhere). And when I requested a detailed billing, I only received a small detailed statement.
get your acts together telkom - you're useless!!!
