After weeks of trying to migrate sims and contracts I decide to rather save myself the frustration and pay R 5000 to cancel my current contract and just start afresh.
Month 1: new contract 5 days in and the billing cycle ends, I get billed a full months' contract levy PLUS pro-rata 7 days additional???
MONTH 2: 2 weeks in my phone gets suspended for reaching my credit limit (which is impossible taking my spend into account. I am on Wi-Fi all day and phone calls are the exception).
investigation reveals MTN have charged me in essence for 3 and a half months levy for only being active on their network for 3 weeks and have suspended my account for 2 weeks and CAN ONLY CORRECT THIS NEXT WEEK WHEN THEIR BILLING CYCLE LAPSES.
So completely their error but constantly at my inconvenience. this is just simply completely unacceptable and ridiculous!
