For the last few months my handset showed I haven't used more than my 250MB during the cycle from the 21st to the 20th of each month but MTN charges me extra each month.

I accept the phone usage might be incorrect due to the handset but surely MTN tests these new phones before releasing them on their network? Sony Xperia Z.

Regardless of the billing problems, I have no control over my data usage. MTN does not send you a SMS like Vodacom does to notify you that your bundle is finished.

I cannot increase my monthly data bundle because it was part of a special on the contract. MTN does not allow a person to set a limit on data anymore.

So basically you telling me, I can't track my data usage with my phone, MTN will not notify me or cut of data at my request and I cannot increase my data bundle!!!

I feel MTN has cornered me and milking me for all the cash they can get without allowing me to control my spending.

Good luck retaining me when my contract expires!
