I checked my MTN phone statements from April this year because I noticed that my Phone Bill was up on average by R250 per month for "Content Charges". I phoned MTN & they directed me to a company called Opera Telecom. Phoned them and spoke to a Shannon (14H03 - 02 Oct 2013), who told me that I had subscribed to some or other adult site via the internet. When I told her in NO uncertain terms that I did NOT subscribe to anything at all and that I demanded a refund, she told me that it wasn't their problem as they are "only a platform for cell users". She also told me that they "Do not do refunds". I am fuming at the moment because everyone has a "Don't care" attitude and we as they consumers have to take this nonsense. I have been billed, in total, a staggering amount of R1, 341.30. How do I get this refunded, as I have not ever subscribed to any services?
