My "smartphone" had to be sent in for repairs almost 2 weeks ago now.

I received sms notifications telling me my phone had to be sent into the advanced repair centre, after a week I heard nothing and did not receive any sms notifications. When I called, the customer service consultant had to check the details before calling me back.

Needless to say they did not call me back, so I called back. I was then told that my repairs to the phone would cost me R 2900.00? This is because the phone was one day out of Warranty? One day? Really?

So I requested the contact number for Vodacom Head Office, called them and spoke with a so called Ops Manager. She checked the Job card number and all of a sudden there were two quotes, one for R 2900.00 and one for R 9500.00.

She apparently escalated the matter, did not call me back to give me any feedback at all, I called numerous times. Eventually I got a hold of her again, she said that Vodacom were not willing to assist me even thought the phone was a single day out of Warranty.

Poor service, terrible feedback and unwillingness to assist loyal clients, I will be cancelling all three of my contracts when they are up for renewal year!!!
