There has evidently been cable in this area, my friend reported her phone out of order on 29-7-2013 (770CRZ290713), this is TWO months ago, yesterday they received an sms to say that the cables are not going to be replaced and that Telkom would let them know what the alternative is??
This is a pre-paid phone and I wonder if it would be different if it was on account.
I seriously find this the worst service reply I have ever heard from a service provider. WE NEED TO PUT PAID TO THIS MONOPOLY!!!
