I visited the northgate mall vodacom 4u branch this afternoon (01 October 2013) to purchase a screen guard for my S3 phone. I noticed after the lady had put the screen guard on that it had scratches. I alerted her of the flaw and requested that she replaced it with a new one. She vehemently refused and argued that they were minor scratches that I shouldn't fuss about. After arguing with her for a while she then called another shop assistant to mediate. I insisted to the 2nd assistant that they change the screen guard and his response was "these are small scratches and you will scratch your screen anyway". I had to argue with them after a third assistant joined in the argument and ganged up against me. After a lot of back and forth the gentleman eventually decided to give me a new one but they all refused to assist in putting it on my screen. I am shocked and disappointed that these vodacom employees thought it sensible to put the credibility of the brand on the line for a R69 screen guard. I had to go to incredible connection and a gentleman there was willing to put my screen guard on. I've been a loyal customer. I've shopped there many times. I'm upset at how they treated me.
