Telkom landline and Internet off from 24.09.2013

Hi.
I live at 24 12th Avenue Ravensmead. Our Telkom line went down at 4am on Tues 24 Sep. Line still down. No internet access. Such an inconvenience. Logged a complaint on Wed 25 Sep and got this sms.
...Dear Customer, This is a progress update from Telkom SA. Fault 684CWK250913 for Service ID 0219317811. Your fault is in hand with our technical repair division. Please do not reply to this SMS. Telkom...
To date I have had no call from a Telkom technician yet. I have gone to Telkom Direct N1City twice already. My son has called 10210 and waited for 4mins without a response on that line! My children have school projects that needed to be handed in today when school re-opens for the 4th term. It was school holidays and my family could not enjoy our internet. Or online gaming. As a customer that pays for a service, this is completely unacceptable. When we are late to pay our Telkom bill, we get a phone call or an sms but when there is a fault on the line, Telkom takes their time!
