August 2013. Sufficient data remaining on my contracted data bundles, according to website. "Bill so Far" function indicated an acceptably low bill. Any smses warning of bundled data running low acknowledged and, I thought, bundles purchased.

Fast forward to 26/09/13, and see that the bill is just over R1, 000.00, of which approx R800 is for out of bundle data. Cue panic attack. This, together with connectivity issues is just adding insult to injury and hardening resolution to terminate both cell & data contracts with this so called provider in due course, not to mention self flagellation for being stupid enough to recently renew data contract.

Customer goes into cardiac arrest from shock.

Vodacom lives to see another day of daylight, gleefully kicking their heels all the way to the bank.
