Thanks for nothing

I have a data contract with Vodacom since last year December, when I applied for a cellphone contract they declined based on an old contract I had with them citing I am a slow payer for an old contract I had with them. That account was since closed in 2010 therefore still reflects! The new data contract i have with them is up to date and payed on time every month, isn't that sufficient enough? Why did they approve a data contract if they can't offer me more products?
