Despite hearing many people complain about the cell C poor network connectivity I was assured by the sales person that they have 99% connectivity so I took out a contract and received my phone today because of the attractive package with Discovery vitality. What a BIG MISTAKE that was. I managed to do 2 or 3 calls today that went smoothly, and about 20 calls thereafter where the call couldn't even go through, or when I finally got through I either got cut off after few seconds or people could not hear every second word I said. I live in Bryanston and if the connection here is bad then I don't know what it would be in other areas. My phone shows only 2 bars of connectivity. I used my vodacom cell to make the calls and there was no problem whatsoever nor have I ever had problems in all the years I have been with them. I am calling cell C tomorrow to cancel the contract and send the phone back and will never again MAKE THIS MISTAKE of going with a service provider again and I advise people to think twice about it as well.
