Not registered on network when i have to be

Yesterday, 23/9/2013 I upgraded my contract, The new phone takes a smaller sim card than the normal sim size, and my old sim didn't support LTE.So I did a sim swop, The lady at wonderpark mtn told me the new sim will take 24 hours to register, so she cut my old sim card smaller for me to use in the mean time. Today, 24/9/2013 my current (old) sim card started telling me its not registered on the network, so I thought the swop has been done, when I put in the new sim it told me the same story, and I can literally do NOTHING, not even call customer care. After borrowing someone's phone I called customer care between 17H00 and 18H00 and a Kabelo or Thabelo spoke to me. She told me she'll send it to her manager to see if he can fix this today but it would probably only be fixed 25/9/2013.This Is PATHETIC mtn!!! How can you turn off my old sim if the new sim isn't even ready to use yet??? And don't tell me its a public holiday, if my old sim could have been deactivated on this day, my new sim could certainly have been activated today as well! First time ive had actual problems with you in 4years But this is definitely bad enough to complain about! Tomorrow I have to go to work without a phone!
