Ridiculous charges

I have been a client of Vodacom for the last 8 years. I currently have 3 contracts with them and I am paying -R1500 p/m on the contracts.

I recently lost my job and have only just started working again. I was in arrears on my contracts and they blocked and then deleted my number off of their system.

I have paid up the full amount now which came to R6800 and now I have been told to pay R285 reconnection fee PER SIM, so another R855 and wait 7 days before I can get my lines reconnected, I told them that I wanted it waived but was told that because it was my fault, it cannot be waived.

So seeing as though they don't want my business, I have now I have decided to cancel my contracts. I asked for a quote and was told it would cost R13000 to pay them up. WHAT??? let me explain, my first contract is -R500p/m and finishes in November so that's R1500. Next finishes in Jan and is R650pm so that's R2600 and finally the last is R400pm and finishes in April so that's another R2800. Total is R6900. so they have decided to charge me another R6000 if I want to cancel them now???

Vodacom is truly shocking with regards to their customer care and will NEVER use Vodacom ever again.
