Incorrect billing

I purchased a HTC tablet from mtn, i have sent them numerous emails to tell them that this device does not work with the sim card so now i use my vodacom sim in it. they apprarently have tried to sort the problem out but it still does not work and after a few attempts they gave up so the sim just lays at home and i keep on paying the bill.

I am being billed for data not used. i told the lady that the sim card is not even in the device but she tells me the internet still runs on??? how is this possible? so after a year the sim card was not in the device and they never charged me and now all of a sudden they decided they going to bill me extra for extra data used. Apparently to her knowledge the data keeps on running because its connected to mtn. I will not pay in any more extra money until this account is sorted out.
