Vodocom did not Add my data bundle

I was on a black berry and took a Samsung, I advised the person who helped me that I use a lot of data and I cannot afford a high bill so I need data bundles. The phone comes with a 300 MB bundle which is not sufficient, The person advised me that there is a 3 GB bundle which I said I will take, I was not sure if this will be enough so I was advised to take an extra 2 GB bundle that comes with the wireless device, Ones my data on my phone was used up I can use this, This sounded good, 5 GB should be enough for my usage. When my phone bill arrived it was 5500 rand for the month, I monitored my data usage on my phone and my phone advised that I was still under my 3GB so I could not understand this, I went into the shop and found that the person who helped me never activated my 3GB bundle, They quickly fixed this while I was in the shop, However they advised me that its my problem that I did not double check that they did their work and activated my data, I am sorry I will not pay this data as it is not my fault your employee did not do their job. Why on earth would I take extra data on a external device but only keep 300MB on my phone? I have consulted a Lawyer already.
