After disgusting service I eventually paid VVM the attorneys handling the account they quoted me R1200 to activate the account which I did and I was given 7 days turn around time to have my number enabled. I contacted MTN and they advised me that though I was still under contract my number was reassigned this means that I would need to pay to get a new number after 7 days MTN still had no record of payment as advised to me by VVM . So i decided to cancel my contract and I was quoted an amount of R859.79 by their incompetent legal department to settle the account which I paid almost immediately. I kept on calling into their contact centre and being transferred to legal and advised that I the account would be cancelled within a month. I have since received additional calls from vvm and emails that I am outstanding with an amount of R1185.02 after I was lead to believe the account has been paid off. Not only has this negatively impacted my credit rating for another month but due to their incompetence I am forced to find finances again to fit this bill while I am continually being charged interest on an account that has not been settled because of their stupidity
