8ta EFT payment misleading

I tried to purchase R1 000 airtime using EFT payment on Thurs 19/09/2013 .Follwed the promts and entering the ref number as instructed. The page says you will receive a sms within 10 mins. Waited for about a hour decided to call the call centre. Was instructed to forward proof of transfer. Now am told process may take upto 72 hours which is totally unacceptable. Now am worried if ever I will recive my airtime.
