Yet again 8ta has proven their lack of competence!! I cancelled my data contract a month before expiry at the Musgrave branch as needed. I filled out a form that I assumed would be sent and all would be well... I WAS HORRIBLY WRONG!!! I was debited for the following month (month 13 of a 12 month contract!!) Earlier in the month I brought this issue to 8ta's attention. They were very quick to the cancel contract but no word of refund. When I went to the Gateway branch they told me I needed to bring in a bank statement to show that I had not been refunded the amount debited. I did so today and was told to call the call centre (who are just as pathetic). The call centre proceeded to tell me that there was basically nothing they could do because I had not cancelled the contract(!?) I have been told I need to get hold of the paperwork that I filled out at Musgrave. The Musgrave consultant should have done her job properly!
MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED AND SORT THIS OUT NOW!! My time, effort and hard earned money is being wasted on the incompetence of the call centre and branches. Prinitha at the Gateway branch should not be dealing with customers, her attitude is appalling!
