So for a year long I have been trying to cancel a debit order from cell c. Everytime u call I being told that the cancel request did not go through but has been done now. So it went on for a year. Finally started posting on cell c Facebook wall and a agent did call me back beginning August. He did confirm that I have been overcharged due to debit penalties that I had to pay. On the 13th September thokozile told me that I received a credit of only 350 rand. It should be way more but leave it at that. She also said that the debit have been taken off and changed to cash payment. That credit covered for this months payment so I did not have to pay. The 18th I received a SMS stating my account in arrears and will be blocked in 48 hours, the same time I posted on their Facebook wall again and was told a agent will contact me. No one did up to now the 20th I only received a ref nr and later a SMS to say that the debit has been cancelled. Today I again had to call cell c to sort this out. Shipo told me the account is up to date and the reason I got the SMS is because the debit did not go through and I have to pay yet another penalty on that. For a year now it has been a constant struggle.
