About six months ago, I call cell c asking for a mini iPad. Apple is the only brand that manufactures iPads yet I was promised I am getting the iPad and a few days later I get some fong kong media pad! Never the less I sent it back within 7 days and called cell c to confirm that the I have sent back the media pad and that they should cancel. About two months later, my account is debited with the monthly subscription fee, I reversed the debit order and call the call center to which I am told the contract had not been cancelled. A fees days later I received a phone all confirming that the media pad had been received and the contract is now cancelled. About four months later, I am debited with a whopping R3380. I immediately called the call center (AGAIN) and they confirmed that this was a cancellation fee, even though I sent the media pad back within 7 days. The debit order returned (this was on 31 August 2013. I received an email from cell c on 4 September 2013, stating the charges had been reversed and no further debit orders will be taken from my account! Most disgus They tried to take a further FOUR more debit orders!!! My credit record now shows 5 returned debit orders!!
