Debit order payment and balamce on 25 January 2013

I've recently noticed that the balance on my accounts would grow to around R4 000 whereas I pay by debit order every month. I just received the statement I requested long time ago and noted that despite paying R1 613.05 by debit order in settlement of a balance due of R1 613.05, I was left owing an amount of R1 612.05 on the 25th January 2013. This then means to me I never made the payment if despite paying, my balance does not come down to zero after settling the balance. As a result of this R1 612.05 balance, my account is always in arrears even though debit orders go through. One of the agents advised that I ignore it even though no proper explanation was given. I cant just leave it like that as this is my money. I also noted that they make errors in my account when I upgrade and then downgrade. This must be attended to as a matter of urgency so that if I have a refund, I get it immediately. i've been patient enough.
