My homeloan's debit order is normally subtracted from my current account on the 25th of each month. When I checked my banking on the 25th of May (a Saturday), I saw that the debit amount didn't reflect in my current account yet. I transferred the required amount for the debit order so that it would have enough money in it once the debit is passed. Now my account shows that the debit did in fact take place on the 25th (even though it didn't reflect on that day), but that the credit into my current account only reflects dated 27 May (the Monday). Therefore a R90 fee had been debited to my account, but I do not agree with it. If the debit didn't even reflect in my account, how can it be backdated to ensure that the R90 is charged?
