For over 5 months now my 4 mbps ADSL line has been experiencing slow access mostly between 50 kbps and 1.5 mbps sometimes 10 kbps.
I have logged a fault with Telkom many times the next day the fault is marked as restored on their side with anything being fixed.
Their only solution is to reset the port or send a technician who cant do anything.
I have been passed for pillar to post with Telkom blaming the ISP the ISP blaming Telkom, I have changed ISP's 4 times now and the problem still persists.
I have done all relevant tests on my ISP account as well as with the Telkom Guest account through the SAIX speed test.
There is definitely congestion at the exchange or something wrong with the line.
This must be fixed once and for all or I will be canceling and lodging a formal complaint with ICASA as well as the NCC and seeking a credit for the last 5 months.
