Telkom sold me a 10G ADSL package with 1024 Kbps. When I check speed test I've only ever get 0.2 mbps which means my phone's 3G is consistently faster than my ADSL! I must have over 20 reference numbers from my complaints over the last 8 (!!) months but speed remains slow and connection is intermittent. Chewing glass is more fun than phoning their "help" line (average waiting period of over 20 minutes for an actual human being to attend to you - would be out of business if we operated our company that way) and no solution. Of course my account gets debited the full amount each month even although I'm only getting 20% of what I was promised. Does that sound right? Um, over to you Telkom. Sort it out or lose another customer.
