I left MTN almost a year ago because they were heavy handed, incompetent and rude when dealing with me and service complaints that I had. When I left, their incompetence had me paying subscription fees 2/3 months after I had left them already. Only after severely complaining did they finally manage to really, really close my account and stop charging money against my account. I even went into the store to confirm that I was finally rid of them and had no more money to pay.
(I had a separate hellopeter report for this issue back then)
Today I tried to apply for a home loan, but the bank phoned me back and said that during a credit check it surfaced that MTN had filed me as being in bad standing with them. Now I need to convince the bank to trust me with a lot of money because the schoolground bully complained that he didn't enough money from me a few months ago.
1) They filed me as being in bad standing when I was not
2) They did not notify me that I was in bad standing with them
3) I phoned the accounts department, and they confirmed over the telephone that I don't owe them any money
4) They don't even have a complaints department. They referred me to
