For two full months I've been paying for ADSL service I do not have. I thought by visiting the branch and asking for assistance my problem would be resolved. But I was clearly wrong. To a point where I started tracking their service. On the 14/01/2013 I registered a fault with my installation (ref no. 992ctk140113). On the 16th I received a progress update but still no repair and no technician at my house.on the 24th I registered another fault (ref no. 217ctk240113), on the 25th I received a progress update and to date no sign of a technician. When I called the branch manager Tricia Mahlangu her response was its not her duty but she can help me by finding out what the problem is. What a nerve, as a branch manager surely she's not allowed to brush me off like that. Telkom is a nightmare right now, even when I was installing a normal telephone at home I battled for ages, no wonder their share price falling down the drain.
