Since we received a new phone in end October 2012 we have had high accounts, i have queried it, i was told it is on content download charges from 2008. We have never been on a rigntone, game or any other downloads.

A R2000.00 plus amount of money was deducted from our account end of November 2012, it followed with a other R4422.00 amount end of December. I have returned the amount of money and paid the amount that was due for the 2 months excluding the content charge. A R9233.00 was deducted this month again. Sice we have received the new phone we have picked up as well and notified them that MTN made a error as they have change us from a MTN Topup to a contract after the instruction was to be on a Topup.

How can you all of a sudden be charged for 2008 charges, and also if you have never been on the sites that they say?
