Vodafone vlive charges / pre installed apps

We upgraded our Vodacom contract 24 months and signed for a new Samsung S4 Mini smart phone

When signing the contract papers, there was no disclosure of charges relating to an APN portal (internet setting) relating to an application named as Vlive. The Vlive application is the app required to connect to the Vodacom network for all internet traffic/data being browsed or downloaded on the phone. On calling and getting settings i was provided with different settings, no clarification of these settings are vlive or another portal to billed through? no other smart phone uses forced vlive apn settings.

Secondly there are pre-installed applications on the phone for browsing internet websites that have pre-configured and non-negotiable website links that you are unable to get around or remove. We have logged the issue with Vodacom on Wednesday the 11th September 2013, 2 days after the new contract was signed on the 9th September, at which time the charge for Vlive had been noticed on the statement sent from Vodacom. The response time for feedback is past the Vodacom stipulated time of 24 hours and according to their records of 13 September this matter is still pending as unattended.
