I have a 2gb bundle with Iburst. If the 2 GB is finished i go over into a pay per use system whereby i pay 18c / mb and get billed at the end of the month. In terms of our agreement there is no cap and i am never supposed to be without service.
I have had the account for several months and the service has been good until today.
This morning i got a message on my browser from cell c stating that i need to top up and my internet and email was cut off. I phoned the iburst call centre to find out that they have now unilaterally capped all the users on this specific bundle due to miss use. My account goes off on a debit order and has never not been paid.
Despite holding forever between several operators and especially Mpho Ntsane and Phenyo Mabengeza i am still without service 4 hours later. No one in the call centre will take responsibility for my problem and the operators are rude, arrogant and useless.
I also have an iburst package at home, but will cancel both.
