I have been on Pay As You Go for years, but was given a Blackberry Curve so decided to go on contract. Head to Craighall Park shop, where Richard assisted me on 31st August. I decided on Top Up 200 and he advised that the contract price per month would be R177.50 with immediate effect as I already had a phone. I then received an sms from Vodacom stating that the first debit would be R208.21. On calling, I was advised that this was due to R97.00 connection fee. This is NOT something I was advised of. The ownership of Craighall Park has now changed and I believe Richard and Co have moved to Boskruin, from where I am now trying to obtain a copy of my contract, which was not given to me on the 31st, but no-one answers the phone. Not a good start to a contract relationship.
