I send MWeb an email on 2 August asking them to contact me since I want their internet service. Ashraf Khan phoned me telling about their month to month deals. Asking me whether I have a moden/rooter I told him that I have a Vodacom modem/rooter, but think I will need a new one. He told me then about their 6 months deal - I subscribe for 6 months and receive a modem. I did not have a telephone line at that stage and he told me to contact him as soon as the telephone line is installed. He send me an email with all his particulars. The line was installed on 16 Aug and I immediately dropped him an email. He phone me an took all my info and said that he is sending me 2 documents via email - the one is a form which gives him permission to go ahead to ask Telkom for an ADSL line and the other one was the application form. I completed both and send the "template-permission" form to him on 16 August via email and faxed the application form to him on Monday 19 August. Ashraf then phoned me on 20 August telling me that the offer of the 6 months contract discontinued on 31 July 2013. I kept me for 16 days under the wrong impression. I wrote to Mweb complaining about this - no reply yet
