MTN not keeping up to Warranty agreement

A Month ago my S3 just died on me

I took it to a MTN for repairs..
After a week I was told to collect my phone.

On arrival at MTN, I was informed that my phone did not get repaired, because it had water Damage.
I was very surprised by this diagnosis, because I know my phone was never near water.

I demanded to speak to a Customer Care Consultant, and explain to her that it is impossible that my phone could have water damaged, and that I would like to have a second opinion on it.

I was told straight away by her, that sweaty hands can also cause water damage. And that there is nothing they can do for me, if the technician says there is Signs of water damage, the phone will not get fixed by them, end of story.

In the mean time, I spend R9000 on new cell, and also decided to take the S3 to Samsung for second opinion.
The Support Staff at Samsung told me that the Sweaty hands theory, is a big nonsense story.
My phone was fixed by Samsung, under warranty, no signs of water damage (Faulty board)

MTN You just lost a loyal customer, Been with you almost 20 years!!!

My advice to consumers out there, don't trust MTN, get an second opinion.
