A SAMSUNG GALAXY S 2 UNDER WARRANTY WAS TAKEN IN AS IT WAS OVERHEATING AND NOT SWITCHING OFF, THE UNIT IS UNDER GUARENTEE WITH MTN. THE TECHNICIAN SAYS THE PHONE HAS WATER DAMAGE AND WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER GUARENTEE. WHEN TOLD THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE WATER DAMAGE WE WERE TOLD TO FETCH THE PHONE AND TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR A 2ND OPINION. THIS PHONE HAS BEEN TAKEN IN TO MTN ON A NUMBER OF OCASSIONS AND THE STAFF THERE HAVE SWITCHED THE SIM CRD AND RESET IT . THE PHONE HAS NOT BEEN 100% SINCE DAY ONE. IT IS ON CONTRACT WITH A SAMSUNG GALAXY PAD WHICH ALSO GIVES PROBLEMS AND WHICH HAS ALSO BEEN TAKEN IN A FEW TIMES BUT WITH NO RESOLUTION. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE UNTRUTH THAT THIS PHONE HAS COME ANYWHERE NEAR WATER.
IT SEEMS THAT SAMSUNG HAS A INFERIOR PRODUCT.
