I took a contract for 2 Blackberry's.
The Consultant told me that the contract would cost me R160 each ad will include the following:
-R100 for 100 minutes
-R59 for BIS
-no payment for phone
I was paying approximately R330 per month since inception (Dec 2012). However my BIS was not active on both phones. I didnt think much of it at the time because I was using other simcards.
I decided to go query the BIS in Northgate and I was assistance by a very arrogant guy, then bam! my bill was R570 in July!
I went into the shop last month and again I was assisted by a very petulant lady. I explained to her. Now she got the guy who had assisted me in signing the contract and they both tried to convince me that i was mistaken & told me that I had to pay for the phone plus contract didnt come with BIS!
I told them that I was very angry and that I know my rights as a consumer and requested that they cancel BIS and insurance and that I was going to escalate this!
I asked for my contract which they said they were going to request from. Till this day am still waiting!
Last month I was charged R500!
I request that this be changed before I take it to CPA
