Unfair re-instatement

My debit orders did not go through for my Cell C Contract, i was in arrears for 3 months.
on 20/08/2013 i was contacted by Rowan Louw from Legal department of Cell C whom instructed me to pay an amount of R578.77 and was told to fax proof of payment, he sent me an email with acc no and fax no.
I paid this amount on the 31/08/2013, i contacted the customer call centre to have my account re-instated and was advised that my contract is cancelled. I am trying to get through to the legal department but i guess everyone is busy fixing other peoples errors.

If my contract is not re-instated, i will sue Cell C for inproper code of conduct.
