I upgraded my contract on 31/08/13 at the vodacom shop in the East Rand Mall (near entrance 2) I originally asked for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the sales consultant convinced me to take the S4 Zoom and told me the zoom is EXACTLY the same as the S4, just a zoom lens is added. I only realised later that the zoom was not as per the consultants gesture. The phone was sold under false descriptions and the shop owner refused to exchange it for the normal S4.
The phone is still in its original packaging, only the box was opened by the sales consultant.

I did call vodacom customer care and they advised me that a exchange may be done within 7 days, it all depends on the shop, and according to the consumer act they aren't allowed to refuse a refund or exchange.

I don't want to sit with a phone I don't really want just because the sales people don't know what they are talking about! I've been with vodacom for over 10 years and this is the first time I've experienced such bad service from a branch.
I feel that if the fault was by me it would've been a diffient story, but I wanted a S4 and the sales rep told me to go for the Zoom, because it's only the zoom that was an extra featu
