Refusal to cancel contract within 7 day period

I used the facility to upgrade on the phone a Saturday morning. After the contract was sent through and I checked it, I discovered that the charges for the contract were R100.00 more than the advertisement. I tried to contact them again bit they were only available again on the Monday morning. I eventually got through to them around 10am on The Monday morning and cancelled the contract. I was told it would be reversed. It was not as we discovered that afternoon when we went to a local dealer to do our upgrade. They contacted upgrade department and the consultant told me that he could not cancel the contract as the handsets had already been sent to me. 2 days later, when the handsets arrived by courier, I returned them unopened. This was in July and since then I have sent e-mail after e-mail without one reply in writing. End July they reversed the upgrade, and then when we received July account, found that they had charged for handsets we never received. I queried it, no response or credit and nothing in writing. Vodacom NEVER puts anything in writing. The upgrade department do as they like and are arrogant. They are a disgrace to Vodacom.
