Incorrect billing - no response on case

This complain is regarding case number: 6573950

On the 10th of May I upgraded my contract with Telkom Mobile from a Blackberry to the new Samsung S3 Mini on Smart Plan 100. The special advertised at the time was R268 for the phone and contract (excl CLI presentation).

The recurring monthly fees in June, however, came to R317.80. I was told by staff at Somerset Mall that this was due to pro rata charges from my upgrade and that the next statement would reflect the correct recurring fees. However, the latest statement for 1 July - 31 July shows R465.08 in recurring monthly fees. This is well above the R276.80 that I should be paying, including CLI.

I was then told that the issue was due to having being incorrectly billed for a wireless activiation fee of R200. A case was logged, but I have called several times and been told that the billing department has not yet dealt with the query.

This needs to be dealt with as a matter of urgency - I should not be billed for these charges. I upgraded to a contract with a recurring fee of R268 for the S3 Mini on Smartplan 100, yet I am being charged well in excess of that amount.

I have been a loyal customer and deserve proper attention.
