Well, 6 days later and after my last report I'm STILL waiting for Cell C to contact me as they promised.
In the meantime I managed to connect to the Internet with their modem & data package and actually achieved speeds of almost 1 Mbps (upload).
1 Mbps is NOTHING compared to MTN's 7 Mbps I get from exactly the same location and with the Cell C modem!!!
Apart from the speed the Cell C connection is extremely un-reliable and will drop many times an hour - so much so that even their 1 Mbps speed is USELESS!!!
Let this be warning number 2 for anyone intending to purchase Cell C data!!!
