I lost my data SIM and was advised that I now need to do an affidavit in order to get it. I really do not understand the logic behind this??? I am there in the branch with my ID but I must first go through all these loops and holes to get a sim swop.
I have had an MTN contract for almost 4 years and this wasn't the first contract that I had I have never heard such in a long time!! can do a sim swop on a prepaid number easily and to top it off I have to pay R140 for the said sim swop (that is not the issue) Is there anyway that this can be avoided? As I work or live nowhere near a police station and this will be unnecessary admin from my side just to get a sim card. This means that I am paying for a contract that I am not using and will not be using for a while
This is a sure fire way for clients never to come back again!
