Time for upgrade so I went to Vodacom store at Walmer Park Centre. It was important that I received the correct facts to make the right decision re contract. I enquired about data usage and told them that I use facebook, news 24 and email frequently. I was told that the free 250 mb of data should cover my usage. I made my decision based on these facts. So I entered into contract for a Samsung Galaxy Note... the first few weeks I used my data sparingly, not at all the way I would use it when I had unlimited data as per BIS. and at the end of that month my data came to an extra R 1 000 over and above my normal cellphone usage. I was understandably upset as it was not consistant with the info I was given. I contacted the branch and their apathy left me cold. as far as they were concerned I signed the contract, deal done. I took it to Vodacom Greenac. and they told me that I was given incorrect info because on that handset I could expect 2 gig usage... and I insisted going onto BIS again with an exchange to BBold handset. but I still had to pay the R170 for the Samsung handset per month even though BB handset was for free on talk 500 package. I will look for new provider on 10 OCt 2014
