Contract Cancellation Process

Hi

Vodacom to me has mostly let me down in my life. At one stage I had six contracts in excess of R 3000.00 per month.

I cancelled one of my contracts with Vodacom and ported successfully to Telkom Mobile. I followed the rules and in the new month of August I thought my contract would have been terminated.

To my surprise I received a new bill with the contract still in effect. I called the call centre with no joy.

I then emailed my complaint to Vodacom. I received a call from a friendly person, Jaco Von Metzinger. He assured me that he will investigate and get back to me.

I was so surprised the next day he kept to his word. He called me advising that he had listened to the voice recordings and was satisfied. He cancelled my contract, backdated the credit note and confirmed this via email.

I would like to thank him for his efforts and hope other employees at Vodacom could take their clients issues with the seriousness it deserves.
