It's been 19 working days since my request for my telephone line and my ADSL line to me moved to my new address. Other than the sms I received on the day I requested the move, there has been no communication from Telkom. I have called on 9 separate occasions to follow up on when I can expect to have my phone line / ADSL service restored and have as yet got absolutely no idea when this will happen. I need to have internet access at home as I am frequently on call after hours. I've been told in the last 6 calls that there are technical problems, the order is with the technical department who are investigating and will be in contact. The last 4 calls, I've been advised that my order has been escalated and to expect a call withing 4 to 6 hours from a technician - never received a call or an sms. 3 calls ago, a supervisor advised that he would follow up and personally sms me - never received an sms. 2 calls ago, one of the consultants took my cell no and my direct work no and said she would call 9am the next morning with an update - no call. My most recent call, this morning a supervisor gave me his direct line and assured me he'd call during the course of the day. We shall see.
