In beginning June i applied for the simple plus adsl package (2mb 10GB) which is R499 pm. On 4th July my statement shows a total due of R1419.90. I found that Telkom charging me for two 10Gig accounts and never applied for it. I called Telkom on 5th July spoke to Tebogo and promised it will be cancelled, was given ref: toc7076452660. After following up on this for a month exactly nothing happened. After 30days past i was very angry, been receiving ugly sms from Telkom and my ITC gets affected by this. I have spoke to a Sibongile, Robert, Moses on different occasions all making empty promises. 6 August i demanded to have my account cancelled and spoke to Millicent from cancellations and said it will be cancelled. She did cancellation and my account still show in arreas and i must pay R499 pm. Balance showing R628.71. My tel number is 0219059743. Acc number 539901445475. I was all day on the phone with Telkom friday still have this problem. I am blady dissaponited with Telkom with the imcompetent staff and making empty promises. I dont have a problem paying my account but dont me around. I dont know who to speak to as no one can do there job properly
