The Facts:
Called Telkom from Tygervally Telkom Direct, to cancel our account (16 July), asked for cancellation to occur end August, this gave more than the month notice.
31 August came and went, 2nd September called again, from tygervalley Telkom Direct, where we were promised a return call, there was evidence of the call made 16 July.
16 September called again to find out why it still has not been cancelled, was again promised a call back... still nothing.
30 September phone has been 'cut' due to non-payment.
11 October went to Bellville Main Branch, where customer service was putrid - asked about cancellation - and was told arrogantly "we dont deal with cancellations you have to phone" - there are phones there ".
we phoned again, and was told that we would once again receive a call back... and still nothing.
WHY continue to bill the customer for something they have asked to have cancelled. This is beyond rediculout. R365 per month since september for a service we have cancelled!
